Msn live search wont work

just google internet explorer 9 and download from windows/microsoft

Very easy to do,
Type in msn.com on your browser then click on the Tool tab on the top left side of your browser. Now scroll all the way down to options or internet options, different browser have different options! Now on the box that pops up just click on (use current pages) now click ok and close your browser, when you open it up again, your page should be setup to MSN.COM...

Windows Live Messenger is tied into Internet Explorer...
open internet explorer go to Tools> Options> Internet Option>Advanced>Reset...
once reset close internet Explorer, then re open it and it will ask you a few Questions when complete try MSN again and I am sure it will be good again :)

just download from internet msn messenger which version you want.. and then install them in your pc then restart pc then continue msn messenger anytime....

I think it's due to the new update to the msn server. Try downloading the new msn - http://windowslive.com/desktop/messenger

Try this it helped me:

Go to Registry Editor:

Click START>RUN>type "REGEDIT"

Add following DWORD Values:

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main"

Add New DWORD Value called "RunOnceHasShown" and set the value to "1"
and
another DWORD Value called "RunOnceComplete" and set the value to "1"

Restart the Internet Explorer and it should be fine.

The following instructions are directed at resolving your concern and it
is important that the steps are followed carefully to ensure the problem
is resolved. I know how this can be quite confusing but I would
appreciate your patience in accomplishing each step.



1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

4. Click the Privacy tab, and then click Default.

5. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Restore Advanced Settings.

6. Click Apply, and then click OK.
