While watching TV for about 20 minutes, my screen just went off. Turned off, unplugged, yet nothing seems to work. Called Vizio and their horrendous customer service reps weren't very helpful...
It could be the backlight? Can anyone help!!?!?
The Vizio TV is not even 2 years old!
May be a mainboard problem. If you can see the orange light it usualy means that there is power running through the TV... usually inverter boards are a problem when you do not see any backlight at all.

No, the sound goes off too but the front Vizio logo light remains on when its plugged in. Because the audio is out too, does that mean it's not the inverter?
when your screen goes off, does everything else still work? for example the audio and the front Vizio logo light? If your answer is yes, then the inverter is bad and needs to be replace.
What do you think is wrong....I tried recycling the power no help; plugging into other outlets ..etc.
My Vizio TV is less then a year old. It has sound and the screen has some light to it put no picture. I did the flashlight test when pressing the menu button but see nothing. only button that seems to work on TV and remote is the on and off button. What part should I buy to repair?
