Berringer pmp 3000 switches on but cuts out after 30 seconds

I had one of these and when working was pretty good but the build quality overall was not great.

A couple of faults manifested themselves including cutting out after a few minutes.

I traced it to a faulty fan (The unit cuts out if the temperature rises). I sorted that out and it then worked great.

Check the fans!

Cuts out while driving

If there was a change after you cleaned the carby, I would suggest that it is possibly dirt in the fuel line or water or other contaminants in the fuel tank itself. It may pay to drain the tank and flush out with cleaner. Most auto parts stores have carby / fuel tank cleaning sprays.

My chain saw starts just fine. It will work for about 30 minutes cutting well. After about 30 minutes the engine begins to miss and stall under load. Shortly thereafter the saw will not restart until it...

This sounds very much like a bad ignition unit, if they are going to break down they will do it when they are hot, the only answer here is to replace the unit.

Bought a new husky chainsaw a 455 rancher. was told i had to break it in on small logs & not run it very long at first. is this true

The factory usually recommends 2-3 tanks of fuel going easy on the saw and not running at full throttle.......but I have never done this on any of my saws and I don;t know anyone who has and my saws are all still running great.

I have a brand new 45cc Homelight 18" saw. Statred up great and cut good for about 20 minutes. Stopped and would not restart. Tried i hour later ran for 5 minutes and stopped. any ideas?

Try loosening the fuel cap to see if the tank is vacuum locking. If so, the tank vent may be plugged (it's under the starter cover and appears to be a bronze disc set into the tank). If this doesn't help, the engine may be overheating due to a lean mixture. Does the engine 4-stroke at speed when not cutting, but immediately 2-stroke when cutting? Being brand new, take the saw back to where you bought it and get them to exchange the saw for another or have this one repaired under warranty. Hope this helps!

Chainsaw starts works for about a minute two mnutes cuts out at high rev

That is the sign of out of fuel, Mine races when it runs out, you must have a clogged up fuel line, Take off the back cover, get the fuel line off at the carb and blow through it. Peek inside the fuel tank and see if there is anything floating around.

Saw cuts in circles

Take it to a local saw shop $10± for 20". It will save you time and headaches. Consider purchase of a spare chain or 2 (about 5 minutes to fabricate with yours as a sample). Ask about a more aggressive chain if you wear PPE while cutting. HTH

Runs about 10 minutes 7 cuts off. can't restart

Plan your beer breaks every 10 minutes and enjoy the time off. Also check your fuel mix, the engine is running hot, replace fuel mixture with proper oil mix.
