Question about Gigabyte GA-8I845GV Motherboard
My current O/S is Windows XP Pro SP3 . When the motherboard boot , (if no CD in cd rom ) It says please select disk boot and press enter. when I press enter the screen will black forever . Any help please
Looks like your computer can't find an Operating System in your hard disk. May be the hard disk is dead. You should check hard disk connection cables, and if they're working, we'd have to assume that the hard disk should be replaced.

Hi, Based of your post/description and assuming not hardware problem, you may have to set up the priority boot device in the BIOS to CD. This will tell your mb to look for a boot medium from the cd first. This is normally in the Advance Setup/1st Boot Device. Of course soon as installed, you have to boot from the HD next time. Good luck and kind regards.
