Problem for Air Conditioners

Sanyo 12KS71 Split Air Conditioner
Installed in 5/07, ran fine for 3 months, then it would not start - no lights, nothing. Reset breaker and it ran fine, cold air. Then it quit. Now sometimes it runs, sometimes it is dead. Replaced batteries in control. No luck. Once when it would not start, I checked voltage = 115.9, also has voltage on the protection line. How do you determine if it is the remote or one of the two circuit boards? Any suggestions would be helpful.

- Unit ran well for about 2 months then it just stopped. I checked the voltage going into the inside unit whick was ok. I changed batteries in the remote, still no go. About 1 week after giving up on starting the unit, it starts up. I did nothing during the 1 week. It now runs for 2 or 3 days then just stops (with me doing nothing). You go figure. The dealer is sending me a new circuit board.- smokinhotimeBest Solution

Check your remote control the timer may be activated. Or try to push the reset button on your remote control to set it to default setting or just pull out the battery then insert it again then try. If problem persist then qualified technician is needed.
