- My Nokia 5200 fell on the floor and stoped ringing, It only vibrates. The musical player and ringing tone doest not play. But when i connect my ear phone it plays through the ear piece.- loveadanow

Profile changed to general
theme changed
volume maxed out
phone reset to manufacturers default
battery charged taken out and replaced
phone is still serviceable can send, call and receive.
Have checked phone on incoming calls and text on screen says silent i have not been able to clear this by any of the methods above.

well such type of problem eventhough the ringer (hardware part) is replaced still ringing problem persists according to my suggestion there are some resisters in the main board that are damaged or totally wearout so try to see them and replace them carefully (u need to solder them ) try this am quite sure solve ur problem .

phone ring tone is physical dead phone had to be repaired or replaced, i have a new phone.

I found I was missing calls. It was because the ringer wasn't working. Vibration works ok. I've tried replacing the ringer program with other programs. Doesn't work. Product is now essentially useless for people calling me although I can call them. All other functions work, even other sound functions, with the sole exception of the ringer.

phone will not ring, i have set ringer to loudest. its not on speaker. it only vibrates. please help

Can have a conversation and answer phone from visual clues, but phone will neither ring nor vibrate any more even though provile is normal and all settings indicate that ringing should occur. Suspect a physical problem with phone.
