the cold from hell,,
CAT monitor. know it well, too well.

no its not that.
the code tells that engine has a lazy or dead cat.
no engine stated.
its and XL-7 not and XL7, they are different cars.
3.6L V6
bank one is failing the person who told you bank 2 is full of beans.

"Catalyst Efficiency Below Normal (Bank 1)" SM quote. we change the front B1S1 front sensor first.
then the B1S2, sensor next.
then the CAT if sure no exhaust leaks are on Bank1.
S1 is front
S2 is rear
bank 1, is cylinder 1 side
bank 1 is,, right bank, usa is passenger side

look for leaks first in exhuast
then bad 02s, on right side , damage to wires.
the new sensors.
then new cat, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ last

What fuses to check when Cat 3306 Generator Set is Not producing 480 vlts

Make sure regulator is applying foeld voltage to the exciter coil. If so flash the field first before checking further. I can help you if you do that first.

I have a 1996 dodge dakota 2wd took out the 5.2 and put a 5.9 in headers no cats no 02 sencers and my problem is when i start it cold idle is good but if i take it to 2,000rpm it will bog down then...

Without input from the O2's, the engine goes into fail-safe mode and runs in a full rich fuel trim. When the engine is cold the spark plugs are being "loaded up" with unburnt fuel, and engine stumbles. Hope this helps.

Is the check engine light on or are you showing any codes?

There are dozens of possible reasons for this. A common one is the O2 sensors, but this would likely show a code.

There is a lot of "stuff" that happens between cold start and normal temperature running, most of which is tied to sensors and what the feed to the Engine Control Module.

Most (but certainly not all) things that aren't right get detected by the ECM and generate a code that helps further identify the root cause. Even these codes can be a bit misleading. A Toyota code that says one needs to change the catalytic convertor can often be fixed by replacing the before cat, after cat, or both sensors and that is a lot cheaper than changing the cat. (most of the time shops will automatically change these sensors when they do replace a cat, otherwise the new cat doesn't fix the problem).

We just relocated our cat gen, we start it up but does not generate voltage and goes instantly to cooldown mode.

Which model CAT???? No voltage check the AVR for exciter output first, it may be a control issue shutting down the AVR, so before replacing check for fault sensor input

I have a 2001 s600 Mercedes Benz v12 i just blow out my kat and replace o2 sensor now my accelerated dont wot it like it not reading it . do i have to rest any thing

The only thing to reset would be the check engine light if it was on but would not cause this,how did you blow cat out, theres no blow cat out,also did you use oe o2 sensor? hope you did not use a universal sensor those are junk, check all your connections and make sure nothing was left unhooked like mass air flow sensor,

In my motherboard manual(ASUS P5GV-TMX) specifications there is an entry showing storage/RAID -- 1 x UltraDMA 100/66/33 4 x Serial ATA First are those speeds ?? So does this mean it doesnt support UDMA...

You have 1 IDE connector (1 X UltraDMA) labeled PRI_IDE on your MB that uses a flat ribbon cable to connect with hard drives or optical drives that use that type of connection. The 100/66/33 are transfer rates: 100 MB/s, 66MB/s, or 33MB/s. These connections are quickly becoming a thing of the past and being replaced by the faster SATA (Serial ATA) connections which have transfer rates of 150 MB/s to 300MB/s. Your motherboard has 4 SATA connectors. (4 X Serial ATA)
