Is there a reset button on the nikon coolpix s5200

Nikon cameras do not have a reset button. Nikon cameras are reset using the Menu selections. Press the Menu button. Scroll to the wrench icon and press the right arrow, find the selection "Reset All" by scrolling down and press the OK button. If you want clarification, this link will take you to your camera's manual where you can look on page 107 in the Reference Section:

You need to buy a new battery, unless your charger is defective.

Hi, I have a Nikon Coolpix S2550. I have had no problems until recently when I have been unable to dowload onto PC using USB. Any ideas please?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have a Nikon coolpix S2550. 12.0 Megapixels/wise4Xzoom. I cannot turn it on + I cannot seem to get it to charge??? thanks for your help

Hi. Remove the battery and clean the contacts with the eraser end of a pencil. Then charge the battery. After two hours test the battery with a tester. If you don???t have one take the battery and charger to a radio shack store where they will test them for free.

Will nikon coolpix s2550 take an olympus memory card

Cameras take "types" of cards such as SD, SDHC, MMC, CF etc. The brand doesn't matter.

Nikon Coolpix 5700 problem

Honestly, I don't know of anything else, short of removing the camera's top and cleaning the contacts beneath the button. I would NOT recommend that route unless you really know what you're doing. I don't, so I wouldn't. Sorry I couldn't solve the issue for you. Please rate my answer as best you can, though.

E have a Nikon Coolpix

I went to the menu and selected restore factory defaults. This seemed to fix the problem. I have since added the date to dislay on the photo and the camera is still OK- no more blurry shots.

Coolpix 775 camera does not shut off. Probably the shut off button is not operating

This could be a main-board problem The fact the lens operates indicated that mechanism is OK So what to do- Check Nikon support - will it be repaired at reasonable cost or will you simply bin it- who knows
