Try holding the Fn key down and then press the F5 key a few times, waiting a few seconds each time to give it a time to switch between display modes.

Since you only have one external monitor port, you need to use a video spillter, this will allow you to connect two or more external monitors.
NOTE: This video splitter will only give you duplicated displays. Please check the link below:
