Can nor remove bios password from a amilo laptop

My fujisui siemens laptop amilo pi 2550 has a bios password which i cant remember and now i have check sum error replaced battery but cant get back into bios to reset clocks etc and will not boot to windows

it use phoenix bios v1,11c

    RESOLVED PROBLEM MY WINDOWS PASSWORD WAS THE SAME AS BIOS PASSWORD FOUND OUT THAT THE PASSWORD IS HELD BY EEPROM CHIP SO TAKING BATTERY OUT WILL NOT WORK.

Take out the battery for longer. It seemed to reset by indication of checksum error, but for an odd reason its still passworded. Remove battery and this time short the battery contacts on the motherboard and make sure no power or battery is in the machine. Then replace the battery and give it a shot.

    So you got a metal object and shorted out the cmos battery connector with no mains present and no laptop battery? If this is the case then there must be corrupt cmos memory or bad bios chip? Bad luck that.

Generally BIOS passwords can only be reset by sending the computer back to the factory. Talk to whatever store you got it from about how to send your computer in to have it reset.
