Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player

I am trying to charge it, but there is no indicator that it is charging. this was given to me so i know nothing about it. i also have the micro and know nothing about it as well. neither one, show that they are charging. kara

    PROBLEMS RECHARGING ZEN TOUCH. No indicator on window, charged to what I thought was complete at least 4-6 hours, still says low battery and no indicator status while plugged in to charge. Any suggestions? What could be wrong?

    I am having the same problem. Indicator shows it is charging but has been on the USB port for over 12 hours bar is not even 1/4 full. Also tried charging with the wall charger and same thing.

MY Zen WONT TURN ON. It also wont charge.


Connect the player to a USB port on the back of a desktop PC.. Check the display for the charging icon . As the display times out after a few seconds, press any button on the player to reactivate the display. If the battery is fully depleted, the charging icon may not be displayed. Cup the player in your hands to check that the blue power LED behind the Play/Pause and Options buttons is blinking on and off repeatedly. This indicates that the player is successfully charging. After 1 hour of charging, power on the unit to activate the display. The charging icon should be displayed. Allow the player to charge for at least 6 hours. During this time, if charging from a USB port, please ensure your PC does not enter a power conservation mode (Standby, Sleep, or Hibernate) as this will interrupt charging. If the player does not indicate a charge, or will not power on after at least 6 hours of charging, please contact Customer Support.
You might try updating your ZEN V or ZEN V Plus firmware to take advantage of new features and functionality.

once your mp3 player gets fully charged you can see in the screen of your mp3 player showing "full" near the battery symbol.

My zen was working know its not at all wont turn on or off


Just look at the left side of the mp3, not where all the buttons are, but on the bottom left corner of the side of your mp3, and a little tiny barely noticeable button is there. it says "reset" click it and it should reboot or it'll start working
I recently found this out today :)
I had the same problem about like 15 times xD

Creative zen m series no charge


i was trying to charge my zen on a cpu at work that did NOT have the zen installation disc installed on it. the lightning bolt over my battery sign indicated my zen should have been charging, however it did not. later that night i plugged my zen into my own laptop at home, the one that i installed my zen to in the first place, and it worked fine.

Zen stone doesnt seem to be charging- red light on constantly


Make sure the hold/lock is disenagged - that will prevent it from charging

Zen V Plus Drive not recognized and won't charge


Try going to the control panel - hardware and delete
the Zen [ make sure your Zen is unpluged ] once delete
plug your Zen back in and see if this does the trick

Vision M not recognized


I'm having the exact same problem. My zen is 'charging' but isn't detected anywhere on my pc and I'd leave it charging for days but nothing happens. I've tried different usb ports, reinstalling the software several times but nothing. I recently reinstalled Windows and with my new pc my Zen cannot work on it for some reason?! I put previous files from my old pc onto my Zen hoping that I could transfer them onto my new Windows pc but I fear I've lost the data on my Zen completely. Arggh, any suggestions guys? Please..x
