Blu-Ray player suddenly says "no disc". I have insertsd discs that have previously worked and on the advice of Kevin 000 (one of your techs) I bought a lens cleaner to no avail, it still says"no disc" so obviously it can't read the lens cleaner either. Kevin suggested that the lens might be out of allignment? Where do I go from here?
I've got the same problem on a unit less than 2 months old. I've still got to call Sony and go through the motions before I can send it back to them. "No disc"... disc isn't even spinning. I had the S300 for 2 years, and a Sony DVD player for two years before both units crapped out. I don't understand how Sony can make the PS3 so reliable, but continue to release DVD/Blu Ray players with significant flaws. I'll use the replacement Sony as a backup/gift. I'm waiting for the Oppo Blu Ray Player to come out this month. I know I can rely on Oppo.

I've recently bought Madonna's latest Celebration DVD on-line from HMV. The DVD states on the back that it is Region Zero. It also states that it is NTSC. Although the DVD plays thru my Sony Blu-Ray 350 DVD player, the picture on the Mitsubishi TV is only in Black & White. The picture is clear enough and the sound is perfect, BUT NO COLOUR! Is this a fault with the DVD player or the TV? PS: I've tried playing the DVD through my PC and it plays perfectly in colour, so it's not a fault with the DVD itself.
