Question about Brother MFC 210C All-In-One InkJet Printer
When i turn the printer on, it says that "blank ink near empty" or something similar to this and it would not print in black ink. I tried a new black ink cartridge and it still does not print in black. it does however print in the other colours. how can i fix this black ink cartridge problem?
I had the same problem. With your printer on remove the cartridge then put it back. Follow the prompts. All better now. Hope this helps you.

Check ink cart if it is well placed into the ink cart assy. Do the cleaning procedure by pressing INK skip the arrow-button down until CLEANING is displayed. Press start mono (blue button). After cleaning cycle you are asked by machine to print a quality test sheet. Do so and follow display instructions. Do the cleaning procedure a max of three times! When there still is no BK the printhead either is clogged or dryed out. Sorry, this cant be fixed anymore.
