Problem for HP vp17 Monitor

Speakers work fine, but microphone isn't working very well. lots of background noise on Skype

I upgraded my version of Skype and now there is a lot of background noise at the other end of the call.

- tx. i adjusted the audio volume from the control panel and then the mic in Skype. seems to be better. Where do I find the mic boost?

- tx for the tips. I just went out and bought a new webcam. works perfectly. and it was quicker than trying to fix the old one.

turn off microphone boost, or lower your microphone volume to eliminate background noise, but speak closer to the mic
