Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook

Latitude D510 When I start my computer it powers up then immediately turns off. I get nothing on the LSD screen but see the power lights light up. This takes about 15 seconds.

Try re-seating your memory. If you have two sticks in, take one out and try each one in each slot. Also, try to connect an external monitor and see if you get anything. It has to be hooked up before you boot. Good luck

No! the power supply is sealed, go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to power supply, and go through the list, you find pricing is reasonable.

My dell Latitude D510 starts up, but the screen remains black.


Check the lights on the power LED. If it is steady green and there is no display then your computer is clearing POST, and there might be a Video card or screen backlight issue.
However, if the light is blinking green or amber etc then its a post issue and you will need to get the computer checked by a hardware technician.

Why can't you dell latitude d510 power on?You didn't descript your dell latitude d510 problem clear even.It may be the problem of ram,graphics card ,mainboard,or dell latitude d510 battery.

I believe my latitude D510 has a faulty female


This can be repaired or replaced but is not a simple operation. The jack is soldered to the system board so it must be removed, the repair completed and then reinstalled back into the laptop. Unless you are very much inclined, it is a repair best left to a shop.

I have a dell D510 latitude. AC power OK - doesn't charge battery


The battery of the dell D510 latitude is completely bad and need to be replaced. i suggest you get another one and avoid the battery running completely down before charging it.
