Jvc gd-421pce stuckinstandby

hi can anyone help i have a jvc gd-421pce 42" plasma tv that is stuck in standby the red lite just blinks now i know i bit about tv and most tv when this hapens it is the power transister so just wonderd if it is the same type of thing or is it a difrent thing alltogether can anyone help
