Maybe strain gauge is disrupted. If you could check the internal parts, there should be 4 wires. Using an ohmmeter, reading should be equal on two pairs: around 350ohms and around 150ohms. If reading is different than this, then your load cell is burned.
You can also check the same reading with a working pad. It should be the same.
One other problem that may occur is that the cable going from one pad to the main system may be torn. Since it is a millivolt reading, it will ruin your measurement.

Scale is reading F--H

Mine did this also, I got a replacement and it also read F--H. I took all the screws out - they hid them under the bar code sticker and under the stick-on faceplate where the buttons are - then found that the screws on the load cell which is sort of like an aluminum tuning fork had been tightened so much that the cell was reacting to the screw force, not the scale pad. Release all the pressure and you may be able to make it come alive again. One of my two is working now but calibrating is another thing all together because the linear counting depends on the loadcell screws being set just right.

My health o meter bathroom scale is giving me several different weights suddenly. I have replaced the battery and that did not fix the problem. Suggestions?

You need to make sure your scale is on a hard flat surface to keep a consistant reading. If that does not correct the problem I would call the manufacturer and look into a replacement.

My Salter Electronic scale (3007) got soaked and is giving incorrect / unstable readings. I am trying to take it apart ASAP to dry the board, contacts, etc. but cannot work out how to detach the weighing...

The weighing pad mates with a circular metal plate underneath and needs to be rotated clockwise to unclip from the metal plate. Peel back the lower right corner of the instruction label on the bottom. This reveals a hole through which a philips head screwdriver needs to be inserted to loosen a screw which then allows the weighing pad to be rotated. The screw only needs to be loosened, not removed.

This is a new scale. Every time you get on it a new reading?

See if this helps.
Step on gently and stand very still. Step off and press/tap with your foot the center of the scale to reset to 0.0 and step up again and be very still while it reads your weight.
Mine gave a little different weight but after I tried again I had two readings the same and the readings were what I expected. So if in doubt I read twice. If I am very still when I step up mine give same reading.
I hope there is nothing wrong with your new scales.
Happy weighing.

My scale keeps giving me an err2 message. How do

1. Take out the battery
2. Put scale on hard surface
3. Stand on scale for five seconds
4. Put battery back in
5. Tap your foot on scale to make 00000 appear
6. When the 00000 disappear tap your foot on scale again and then stand on scale till your weight appears

If this does not work the first time (it has always worked the first time with my scale) the repeat the steps a second time. If the second time does not work call the company because something else is wrong.

How do you program users?

Storing and Recalling Weights
1. Your scale can store and recall up to 5 weights. If your scale has one button,
weights can be stored for one user. If your scale has two buttons (User and
Save/Recall buttons), weights can be stored for multiple users.
2. Tap center of scale platform with foot and wait until "00.0" appears.
3. Stand on the platform without shifting or moving until weight is displayed.
4. For single user scale: When weight reading appears on screen, step off the
scale, press Save/Recall button and hold for about 2 seconds to save the
reading.
For multiple user scale: When weight reading appears on screen, step off the
scale, and press User button to select a user number. Then press Save/Recall
button for 2 seconds to save the reading.
5. Weight reading blinks twice, then becomes stable. A small number (1-5)
appears in the upper right hand corner of your display, indicating which of the
5 weights is displayed. (Once you have 5 weights in memory the current weight
always saves as "1" and the oldest reading is eliminated.)
6. Weight reading is saved. Press Save/Recall button to review the last 5 weights or
let the scale shut down automatically. (Note: until you have 5 weights stored in
memory, the display will show the number and "–" for each weight for which
no data point has been stored yet; i.e. "3 –", "4 –", "5 –" if only 2 weights
have been saved.)

Hope this helps!!
