SOURCE: Digital Control (for oven temp and clock adjustment) not working

Puzzeled, usually when there is a stuck or shorted keypad there will be an error code. First let's see if we can tell if we are in Centigrade or Ferenhiet. Press the bake and broil button together for 2 or 3 seconds. SF should appear in the display. Press the broil pad again and C or F will be displayed. Toggle to F and press start. See if that was the problem. If not try to increase the speed of the + and - keypads. Press bake and broil together for 2 seconds until SF displays. Press the + keypad increase the speed of the control. It should toggle from 1 to 5, 5 being the fastest. Press start and see if that works. If niether works..then have someone remove the keypad ribbon cable from the control board and clean the ends with an eraser. See if that solves the issue...Catriver..post back and let me know.

SOURCE: Temperature varies 13 degrees around setpoint on aux heat

I don't have the book for this particular unit but, check the sequencers that control the electric heat mode, as the regulator heat pump works good. The part may have a time or temperature delay that is too long for you. Also if it has a remote thermostat, check the heat anticipate setting. You will have to check the installation manuel, but its usually .6 to .8, but I don't think that is the problem.

HONEYWELL thx9421R5005 tHERMOSTAT IS NOT ACCURATELY DISPLAYING TEMPERATURE, SHOWS TEMPS THAT ARE TOO HIGH. This causes system to run continuously, and it always calls for both stages of compressor.

First be sure the hole in the wall behind the tstat is sealed with putty or the like. This could be your issue due to negative pressure in the house. What you are describing may be something different, the unit should eventually catch up and satisfy if it was working properly. The house would just be cooler. There is a calibration feature that can change the room temp +/- 5 degrees but seal the whole and measure the return air temp vs the supply air temp AT the unit, NOT the grills.

The temperature falls 3 or 4 degrees below the set temperature before furnace kicks on

There is a Span setting on the thermostat causing that, most newer thermostats have a adjustable span from 1 to 5 degrees, if your thermostat has a option menu, scroll through the options and see if you find a option called Span if its at 3 or 4, change it to 1 or 2, then your furnace will cycle on sooner. If you have your owner manual still for it that should show you how to do it.

My Honeywell Pro TH4110D Thermostat calls for heat before the temperature even drops 1 degree. This makes it cycle about every 5 minutes.

remove the front cover of thermostat and adjust the heat anticipator. increase one notch and test system. do this until system operates at a 2-3 degree temp drop or rise.

Inaccurate current room temperature reading

It is not adjustable, sounds like the LED is going bad. Tstat has battery back up for power outages. If you slide the fan switch from auto to on does the blower motor start? If not control problem with unit.

Honeywell CM921 Showing room temp at -24 degrees, How do I reset?

Heya this is a manufacturing fault from honeywell them selves when it comes up -24 basically it needs to be replaced there is no way around in if you get in touch with honeywell they are generally good about it also if you provide them with the date code and model code they will be greatfull as it seems they have sent out a "bad batch". you locate this by:

A) Move the slide in to the off position
B) Press and hold i for 5 seconds
C) Unit will enter settings mode
D) Press and hold the i button and the + and ¿ button together
E) The unit will hold the relay on for 5 minutes and you can view by pressing the down arrow twice for model id/date code (ww/yy)

I hope this helps

Thermostate temperature setting wrong

Are you saying that the temperature over-shoots it's setting by 5 degrees? If so and if the thermostat has an inticipator device in it you can adjust it. After removing the cover on the thermostat, look for a little brass triangle on the lower right hand side. There will be a scale with numbers on it and they are very hard to see. This device heats up prior to shutting off the thermostat so it will not over-shoot by more than a few degrees. Move the brass triangle either up or down and let the heater cycle a few times. If the temperature swing gets worse, go the other way next time.

If the thermostat is not heat inticipated, there will be a small "Dip" switch where you can adjust to a specific degree of under-shoot.

Visit the Honeywell website and you can pull up the installation/owners manual for your model. www.honeywell.com
