SOURCE: My HP 2410 photosmart printer

probably a simple alignment problem. Go into your maintenance section and there is an option to align . Run this and it should realign your printing. Hope this helps!

Have you tried oiling it w/3-n-1 oil? Often the sticking problem is nothing more than it needs lubrication.

Occasionally, I still have to use a typewriter for some forms. I inherited a Xerox 6015 Memorywriter but I have no manual. Is there one online that I can download? Specifically, I'm trying to figure...

hit the carriage return key to put carriage at left margin. then hit your margin release key, then backspace key to put your carriage where you want it. then hit left margin key and that should set new left margin. good luck.

How do I eliminate the margin so it prints out to the edge? I have done a search for a full bleed. No reference.

Unfortunately, Xerox solid ink printers don't print full bleed. It is a shame because in theory, the machine is capable of it but it would require a firmware/driver programming/design update which Xerox are unlikely to do.

HP Deskjet 5650 is printing off-center. The printing field is shifted to the right, so the right margin is non-existent and I lose a bit of the printing. How can I fix it?

I think the horizontal printing starting point can be adjusted by holding down buttons (??) when powering up. Right now my left margin is 3/8 inch too big -- photos have that much white space on left margin with borderless printing. I am trying to figure out the key combination.

How to use the margin release for Brother EM-530

Is Margin Release on it's own separate button on the EM-530? If so, then to move beyond a margin:
  • Use Return or Tab to go to the left or right existing margin.
  • Touch Margin Release.
  • Use the Backspace or Space bar to go beyond the margin in question.
  • If you want to set a new margin, then go to the location you want to have it and touch the Left margin or Right Margin button.
Some models may require the CODE key to access one or more of these functions. If the function name is not printed on the top of the key, but on its front or on the surrounding plastic above the button, press and hold the CODE key while touching that button (just as you hold the Shift key to type capitals). The CODE key might possibly have a different name; chances are it's color will match the functions it works with.

Perhaps you could start here:

Are you sure there is no paper jammed internally?

Paper Jams and Margin Incorrect

Check the humidity of your paper, type and weight. Nothing more than 32# will run through the tray, any heavier should go through the bypass to prevent jamming. Margin follow the internal tutorial for moving your margins. Xerox machines do skew 3 degrees left for some reason or the rollars that feed from tray 2 need to be changed.
