Red light stays on

How do I reset my tv

My WD-62525 of 3.5yrs displayed the solid red status light as well so I changed the bulb. It still does the same thing after the change and the bulb I replaced did not look burned out. I have heard of power supply or ballast issues with this set. I am looking further into it.

Sorry...to answer the question of "Does the set display anything". NO. I can hear the fan turn on and it appears as though the bulb attempts to come on as I hear a few "clicking sounds" and the screen turns from a completely black to dark gray and then goes back to black. The solid red status light then come on from then on. This process takes roughly a minute to occur.

First before a reset the set must turn on, if the set just sits there with the red LED on you have further problems, so does the set display anything?

This is a prime case of bad capacitors in power supply. You may have only had it a year but how old are the parts that are in it?

Red stand by light blinking continuously black screen

It cannot be reset fully unless it comes on and stays on (the model you have listed here.)

That set should have a blink error code--watch the red power light to see if blinking in a number sequence like 7blinks pause and repeats over and over.

I turn the tv on it stay on for one second then it goes off thats when the lamp button comes on its red. then the red light comes on and it stays on although the tv is off the red lamp light is still on

Your lamp timer may be maxed out which means you should change the lamp and reset the lamp timer. When the timer max's out it won't turn on till it is reset.
