If you are having problems with a NIlfisk King cord reel it will either be that the cord is simply dislodged or the retract could be faulty. I have made a video showing how to pull it apart which could be used as a reference to diagnose the issue.

Hi There, I have made a quick video showing how to check the filters and also how to change the Nilfisk King Vacuum Bag. Take a look and you should be able to work it out.

Press the middle rectangular Nilfisk button in the top centre of the machine. The front cover will fold down. There is a greay retaining bracket which clips forward off the top of the old bag. Fold that forward, replace the bag, clip the holder back on, and then close the lid.
