ALL drivers are available from sony for free. If a driver for your machine is not listed for a particular system, say win10, then it is not compatible with the machine and the original OS must be reloaded.

My Sony vaio e series laptop model pcg-71211w is showing some hard disc problem and not starting normaly. It starts after pressing F1....


The BIOS battery maybe flat, this battery keeps the BIOS details stored in memory. Replace the BIOS battery then go into the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time, also check the hard disk is detected.

When i connect my adpater to my laptop it doesnt charge my laptop even thow the light on the adapter is green


I'm not sure I understand your question. Can you please be a little more specific.
If your computer is showing green light and it powers up it would mean that your battery is no good and you should start looking into purchasing another battery. fix first the power adapter/ it not charging some problem of your power adpater,, check the charger if it is working properly or not, then follow by dc connector should know that your dc connector has no deffect// if its okay check the motherbaord of your pc maybe som chips need to replace or damage...ic capacitor fause..ech..

Pcg-fxa49 won't boot


Could be it needs the DC jack resoldered or replaced. (Sounds like its trying to start off dead battery).. These arent to bad to do compared to others weve repaired. Good luck!
