a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: installed spysweeper and i keep
you can use the other programs and they are free to download.. here is the site: http://www.download.com/
i would try to install one of these programs, then run a full sweep to see if any of the spyware that is already on your pc will be removed.. this could be why you are having problems installing spysweeper.. i figured since you probably paid for it you would like to use it versus the free downloads.. adaware is my suggestion between the two.. once you sweep your pc, shut it down and start it up again.. then retry spysweeper.. hope this helps..

I had this issue as well. Download the patch directly from the website, and run it locally. Afterwards the updater won't find a newer patch, and goes directly to the game. I don't know whether this will break again once a new patch is released, but you should be able to manually install it again at that time. Patches can be found at http://www.ubi.com/US/default.aspx under support --> patches.
This link may take you directly to the right place.

It is required to clear the temporary folder before downloading the Software. For this click 'Start' button then select 'Run' (you can open 'Run' by press and hold Windows button on the keyboard and then pressing alphabet key 'R'). Type '%temp%' inside the Run window, and you will get a folder opened. Delete all the files in the folder and close it. Now try to download the Software, it will work.
All the best.
