I faced the same problem with my E900 phone, which i bought in Russia. Reflash didn't work for me (as it didn't affect any settings). Then I tried full reset of all settings and now the phone works fine. !!! WARNING: These will delete all of your data, contacts and settings !!! So save all you need using Samsung PC Studio. To perform full reset type the following code in standby mode (as you usually dial number): *2767*3855#
The fastest way to fix this problem probably is to reset the phone to the condition it came from the factory. The phones manual should have instructions.
If you cant find the instructions from the manual, you can try typeing this full reset code into the phone. Note, the phone should reset itself into the same state it came from the factory / shop. So all your details will be lost, make sure all important phone numbers etc are stored on the simcard. The simcard wont be effected. You can type the code without a simcard in the phone.
