Think this may just be coincidence, make sure the pc is nice and clean inside and is getting good air flow. Also check that any other fans using the psu or the motherboard are spinning. One may be compensating another that has failed.

Asus m32 loud fan

Fan speed does increase for a reason.....heat. Check you BIOS settings and verify that the CPU temp is not getting too high. Desktop computers are dirt magnets. It is common for the CPU heatsink to get clogged with dust and dirt. This will reduce cooling and increase heat, eventually to the point that the fan will speed up. Get some electronic duster (canned air) and blow out the fins on the CPU heatsink. DO NOT remove the heatsink from the CPU. There is a special compound that is on the heatsink surface that allows proper heat transfer from the CPU. Removing the heatsink means that this compound is disturbed and would need replaced. Most users do not have this compound and thus should not remove the heatsink to clean. If the heatsink is so clogged that you cannot get the dirt out with canned air, you may be able to remove the fan from the heatsink, depending on the fan/heatsink design. Then you can use a brush to get into the fins to clean them.

I have an 85 corvette. the problem is the air conditioning. I have it on high speed but the air blows out very little like if its on low speed. and the compressor and evaporator is new so what could it be...

If your car has a cabin filter (check owners/service manual) it may be clogged.

You may also have a vacuum leak under the dash causing the vent flaps to not open all the way.

How to increase rpm of processor fan

Hi,
There is no way to increase a CPU fan's rpm. But you can try changing the settings in the BIOS on how it work for your PC.
You will have two options, first is SMART Fan which automatically adjust your fan speed depending on the load and heat of the CPU. Second is Always ON, which, as the name implies, makes your fan constantly run on the top speed.
Hope this helps.

Air conditioner goes off when fan speed is increased

when it's on 'auto', the fan adjusts according to the temp in the car and the temp setting you have it set at. try setting the auto temp control down to 65, then hit the "-" one more time to send it to "LO" - the fan should automatically jump up to max.

Overclock fan speed question

The amount that you can overclock you're video card differes for each individual card. The limiting factors are temperatures and stability. If games start crashing, etc you should back off the overclocking. Also keep in mind the temperature of the card. Increasing fan speeds will lower the temperatures of the card. Increasing the fan speed (as long as you don't go beyond 100%) will not damage the card... It will be louder though. For the 9800gt, the maximum temperature before damage is 105 degrees C. Try to keep the temperatures at 80 or below optimally. Increasing the fan speed is the best way to accomplish this.

Fan problem

No sorry. Fans can be monitored through the bios & even set to give you an alarm when the speed gets too low but you can not increase the fan speed. You can replace it with a faster rpm fan.
Standard cpu fans run between 3100rpm to 6000rpm. It is up too you. Some creat a wee bit too much noise after 4000rpm.
Heres a few for your Intel Socket 775 Pentium 4.
