If you've replaced the batteries and it still isn't working, your last hope is to see if the keyboard has a reset or connect button on it. Press this (and the one on the dongle if there is one) and it should reset the connection. If not, you're going to need to buy a new keyboard i'm afraid, as this one is kaput.

As far as I know, there isn't a patch for Windows 7. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? There are two ways to do this:
OPTION 1 - TROUBLESHOOT COMPATIBILITY
1. Right click on the programs shortcut, .EXE file, or installation program, and click on Troubleshoot compatibility. N.B.You will not have the Troubleshoot compatibilityoption available for pinned items in the Start Menuor on the Task Bar.
2. The wizard will now give you a list of options to choose from. Try each individual option, following the on-screen instructions.
If this doesn't work, you can try the following option.
OPTION 2 - THROUGH THE PROPERTIES PAGE
1. Right click on the programs shortcut, .EXE file, or installation program.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
4. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box.
5. Click on the drop-down menu arrow, and select which version of Windows the game was made for. N.B. Always pick the latest Windows version the game was made for a better chance of it running properly.
I hope this helps. If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
Visit the logitech support website - identify your webcam - click on it and check what OS is available If the webcam is old and Vista is not available, you can try running the webcam in compatibility mode.
Most programs run properly on Windows XP. The exceptions are some older
games and other programs that were written specifically for an earlier
version of Windows. These programs may run poorly or not at all after
you first upgrade to Windows XP. You may have heard this referred to as
application compatibility issues or program compatibility issues.
You should run the Program Compatibility Wizard before you try other
ways of updating your programs or drivers because it identifies
compatibility fixes written specifically for Windows XP.
To run the Program Compatibility Wizard:
1.Click Start, and then click Help and Support.
2.Click Fixing a problem, and then click Application and software problems.
3.Under Fix a problem click Getting older programs to run on Windows XP.
4.Read the instructions and then click the Program Compatibility Wizard.
Update Your Program or Drivers
If your program does not run correctly after testing it with the Program Compatibility Wizard, check the Web site of the program's manufacturer to see if an update or patch is available. Also, go to Microsoft Update to see if a fix is available there.
If the program is a game that uses Microsoft DirectX®, make sure that you’re using the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. In addition, check the Web site of the manufacturer of your video card or sound card to see if newer drivers are available for either of them.
I hope this helped! if you need any further help please contact me
Try running the game in Compatibility mode. Right click on the game icon, go to Compatibility at the top, then check the box that says "Run in compatibility mode". Then select the compatibility mode for the reccomended operating system for the game.
