Question about GE Vaporizer Pan Set Wr17x11924 Refrigerator Pan

Open Question

Ge monogram water pools beneath compressor

The refrigerator motor (evaporator, compressor, and condenser) is on top. There is a pan beneath the compressor into which a hose from the evaporator seems to drain. The pan may be leaking. Water collects here intermittently and runs down the fridge, leaving a large puddle on the floor.

SOURCE: Refrigerator warm, freezer too cold

I had this same problem. You need to totally empty the fridge and freezer and allow it to defrost for 24 hours. Then put it back on and it will work. This happens if someone leaves the freezer door open and then it gets closed. The defrosted water freezes in the pipes and doesn't allow the cold air to move up into the fridge so the freezer gets even colder. This has happened to me twice!

Yes, you are correct, that is a drain. Use a turkey baster with hot (not boiling) water to flush out the drain tube until water will flow out into the drain pan under the refrig. (where the air blown over it will cause it to evaporate)

SOURCE: water accumulating in bottom of freezer and leaking onto floor

Yes the drain is clogged and the water that supouse to go through became ice so it make it worse.Put hot water in the drain hole until it runs through,it'll go to an evaporative pan on top of the compresor to keep it warm and vaporize the water.

If you clear the drain, the water will not fill up again. (try hot, but not boiling, water, forced into the drain hole with a turkey baster) When drain is clear, water will run into the drain pan located near the compressor. The fan will cause that water to evaporate.

SOURCE: GE Monogram Built-in refrig has blocked evaporator drain.

You should be able to see the drain under the coil. Part 804 on this diagram. Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing.

In winter the refrigerator make ice not in summer, just cleaned the evaporator which was totally cove with dust, noticed also that the compressor is hot and all the coopper pipes also are very hot, what...

The reason everything is hot is because you stopped the unit from "Breathing" through the condenser (not evaporator) by allowing dust to build up.
This is how the system disperses heat absorbed in the freezer section (evaporator).

Where is the drain pan located on the GE Side by Side Refrigerator I have looked everywhere! Thanks in advance for your help.

why are you looking for the pan,you shouldn't have to do anything with it.the pan is at the bottom of the fridge behind the front kick plate and on some models there isn't a pan at all/the water drains to the bottom frame or floor of the fridge where the compressor is in the bottom back, the water collects there and the heat from the compressor and condenser coil evaporates the water.remove the bottom back panel, lok for the drain line or if it just defrosted you'll see the water sitting in the frame.what's happening that you're looking for the pan?

Why is there water pooling in my sandwich make up table? My reach in cooler, also?

During the cooling/freezing cycle condensation forms, this drips into a pan and then is evaporated by a heating element.
One of two things could be wrong.....
Your drip pan is clogged
or
your evaporator unit is bad

Hope this helps

Pouring water from under

there is a condensate pan under the fridge to collect the condensation/runoff from the evaporator coils inside the freezer during defrost. the heat from the hot line coming out from the compressor will evaporate most of the water. if your door seals are bad, there will be a lot of condensation to collect. you'll have to go under the fridge and drain the pan either with a towel to sop it up or siphon it out. you can try to remove the pan, but most of the time it's part of the frame. you should be able to access it from the back.

Model TBX21KLK water pooling UNDER vegetable bins

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

If this refrigerator has a Energy Saver mode, turn it on.

Then, check the door gasket for the refrigerator to make sure it's not leaking. Test by placing a crisp dollar bill on the door jamb with the door open, close the door, and you should feel resistance to pulling the dollar out. Check with particular emphasis on the place where you see water leaking or accumulating
