If I have two 12 inch subs and a 15 inch sub in a box,do I have to keep the air space for each separated

THE IDENTICAL SPEAKERS COULD OR COULD NOT SHARE THE SAME AIRSPACE, BUT THE 15 WILL HAVE TO HAVE ITS OWN ENCLOSURE AIR SPACE. EVEN IF IT WERE A SIMPLE SEALED ENCLOSURE, YOU COULD NEVER MIX THE TWO TYPES OF WOOFERS IN THE COMMON AIR SPACE. ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT EACH TYPE, THE 12'S AND THE 15 SHOULD BE PLAYING DIFFERENT BANDS OF FREQ. USING A VERY STEEP CROSSOVER. AT LEAST 24DB/OCTAVE AND AN EXAMPLE MIGHT BE TO CROSS THE 15 AT 20-40HZ. AND THE 12'S FOR 40-80 OR SO, THE TOP END OF THE 12'S MIGHT BE HIGHER DEPENDING UPON WHICH MID SPEAKERS YOU ARE USING AND HOW LOW YOU CAN CROSS THEM. OK. HOPE THIS HELPS.....V

How much air space is needed for lanxar max st 15d

it depends on the type of enclose you are building and number of drivers .. you can build them and share air space or build it to were neither sub shares any air space.. if you buy a prefab enclosure for your 15s what ever q logic or q power or any other manufacture choses to build a universal port or vent or sealed box will be just fine.
which type of enclosure are you looking for ..
port
vented
seal

How much, cubic in., air space minimum, sealed encloser and also opitum for sealed enclosure? Speaker is 10in. , 4ohme, CJ-25PL193A Thanks Kevin A.

This really depends on the subwoofer. All subs are NOT alike. I would recommend visiting the manufacturers website for more information. Typically 1-1.5 cubic feet works with most 10 in subs. But again, please check the manufacturer for more specific instructions.

How much air space is need for a sealed encloser

are you sharing the air space or building a divider to give each driver its own air space

these speakers or not made for low end bass these woofer are meant for mid bass high bass
  • 6.5'' High Power Subwoofer
  • Non-Press paper Cone
  • Specially Treated Foam Edge Suspension
  • 1.5'' High Temperature Aluminum Voice Coil
  • Magnet Weight: 40 Oz
  • Impedance: 4 Ohm
  • Fs: 80Hz, Qms: 4.05, Qes: 1.3, Qts: 1.2, SPL: 87(dB), Vas: 6.8(Cuft)
  • Mounting Depth: 3"
  • Rubber magnet Boot Cover fers are
  • there is only 3 " of mounting depth needed i would build you door pannel out fiberglass a door pod and mount them on the door if you have a factory speaker there . then run to the amp and turn the x-over on to high pass and them use them as a mid bass driver up front for the front sound stage for get about them as a subwoofer get the lanzar 10's or 12's

i mounted a set of ma audio 8" subs on my 03 s-10 door the speaker fit in the 6.5 location had to trime the door metal and space them out a little cause the 4.75 mounting depth.it worked and then i ran the them in 2 ohm stereo to my 4 channel amp and used the high pass crossover to run them as a mid bass driver works great for me . ma audio 500 watt dual 4 ohms 8" subs each i had 250watts to each sub.

you could build a small enclosure just big enough to fit the 6.5 woofer you could build a dual camber enclosure like 8wx5dx8h internale air space would be 0.18

15 wx5dx8h would give you 0.347 share the air space this is internal air space

    How much air space

Air space needed around the sub is a minimum of 1 inch, but 3-7 is preferred. If you get too big you can get an echo sound. Sealed is my preferred box - it generally gives you the deep base thumping you are probably looking for.
Hope this helps! Rate my solution!

What is the recommened air space for kicker comp vr sealed do you know the specs for building a sealed box

Really it all depends on how you want them to sound, and to be set up. There really is not specific air space, but there are general air spaces that work, and some times the manufacture will list some specs for different set ups. It also depends on the size of the sub, which you did not specify.

    Kicker recommends as follows.

0.4 cubs per sub for a compact box, and 1.8 for an SQ box. SQ stand for sound quality.

So if you want a small box, do .4 per sub. If you want a better sounding box do 1.8.

Rule of thumb and something to think about.

The more air space in the sub, the less power you can run, the less air space, the more power you can run.

For example you can run 200 watts RMS per sub at .4 cubes, but only 140 watts RMS with 1.8.

As well, the smaller box will be louder, But not sound as good.

I have a fifteen inch lanzar max pro p145d and want to put it in an 06 mustang. need to know how much air space i need to make it rumble right

I would go with a sealed because ur trunk is small and sealed would be the smaller box. I recommend 2.0-2.75 cubic ft sealed. for vented would be 3.25-3.50 after woofer displacement. Also I would recommend a reverse wedge meaning the woofer would go on the back side of the box not the angel side because u can slide the box in further saving u a little more room. I'm doing that same box now for the same sub but in a Nissan 2001 sentra. My box when done will be 2.78 cu.ft. After displacement. Sealed. 720 watt rms power acoustick 2ohm stable mono block to get longer life out of my sub.

Box dimensions for 15 in cerwin vega

do you want the box ported or unported (holes or no holes) if you don't got a lot of room than you dont want a ported box. keep in mind the box has to have the correct amount of cubic air space or you could seize your sub... if you're building it make sure you use OSB board (oriented strand board) or MDF board(medium density fiber) your sub needs .7cubic feet of air space in an unported box

    Best sub For RF T10001

There is no "best" its a matter of opinion, and fabrication. I have installed $75 subs in the properly fabricated and tuned enclosure that sound like $300 sub in a pre-fabbed enclosure. For volume, you will need a vented enclosure. For sound quality, a small sealed. Both have pros and cons. SoloX 10 is 2500W rms 5000W peak.
Kicker is plastic. Solobaric may be your best choice in such a small space, however soundsplinter makes an 8" RLi sub that will kick a$$ in the proper enclosure.
When looking to buy, compare x-max : as this is the linear distance the cone will move. More movement = more air displacement = more volume.
