SOURCE: Steam iron just spits water
Hiya .. your problem is more than likely to be one of two things
1. The element is overheating, which means the thermostat is not functioning as it should.. can you hear the thermostat Clicking? if so
2. No matter how soft your water area is.. there is always scale build up around and within the jets, try a good propietary descaler..... White vinegar is a good alternative.
Fill the iron with equal parts vinegar to water, and letting it steam until dry, rinse the tank with clean water, refill it and shake the water through the steam holes over a piece of newspaper/material... Test an old cloth before ironing on anything expensive. It should sort your prob ..... never advisable do this on a new iron as the acidity may damage the iron!

SOURCE: water full alarm
Hi, There should be a little actuating rod poking down from the roof of the bucket chamber which contacts the bucket-float at one end and a microswitch at the other. The microswitch
must be activated to make the compressor and fan run.
Check this if you can to see whether this rod or lever is present, absent, lying on the floor or just plain stuck. If it is stuck in the "full" position then you'll probably have found the problem.
If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills.
If they do not, please hold off on the rating and add a comment with more details so I can try to
help you further. Cheers, D

That is because the water level switch get stuck when water level reaches that particular point.
The water level switch is activated either by a floater sensor or by a membrane sensor that detects water pressure/volume, depending on the model.
On washing machines it is usually a membrane switch, and that is faulty on your machine.

Vinegar and water mix (about 1 to 4 ratio) and run through. Use distilled water only thereafter--rinse through several times to clear out vinegar.
