Question about 2wire Computers & Internet
Alright... so im using an NETGEAR wna1100 adapter wireless 150-N, and my network is at@t 2wire630, my problem is that randomly, i keep getting heavy drops in connection. my moms room has the router, and my room where my adapter is and stuff, ive never changed my positioning and for the last, year or maybe more i believe that i've never had bad connection, but suddenly one day i came home and my connection really sucked, right now i cant watch any videos, any streams, or play a game like League of legends without lagging,freezing, or just stopping completely, theres times where sites load really slow too, i usually get 4-5 bar till i had this problem. now all i get is 2-3 bar, occasionally i get 4 bars butit lasts really short, like 5 seconds and then the stream stops again, for a second while i was righitng this and watching a strream it was four, then two secnods later it turned into two. and now its frozen, ive tried to get softwares to help, i dont know if it made it worst or not, would happily appreciate help, thanks.

In this case you have to get your router reset to default settings and then set it up once again and also setting upa new wireless network with a different channel because the issue you're facing is because of channel selection.

What are you trying to connect your USB wireless device to?
Is it to a wireless hot spot?
or to a Wireless Access Point/Router?
When you find a connection, what is the signal strength?
I assume you have configured your Access Point correctly as well as making it secure. You should connect a computer to the Access Point using a network 10BaseT cable to check the Access Point configuration, especially the wireless configuration.
If you are trying to connect to a wireless Access Point and you have a weak signal, move your computer closer to the Access Point or move the Access Point to a better and higher location to give you a better wireless coverage. Note, walls can affect the wireless signals between the Access Point and the wireless network card and wireless USB device, especially reinforced concrete walls.

The installation issue is not related to interfrence. Could you please let me know if you have installe the adapter using the drivers from the CD or from the NETGEAR website?
This will helps us resolve the issue at the earliest.

Doing my best to give you a correct solution and understanding
Issue : delays in streaming video
ISP : Bellsouth
Router : wireless WRT150N
"Downside to streaming"
Internet isn't a direct pipeline from the source to you. Streamed content passes through many other computers on its way to your computer via your ISP. If any one of them is carrying too much other traffic, the streamed content may be interrupted and pause. Streamed content is "buffered" to help avoid this, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
(test the downstream and upstream speed and alose test the download )
(Checked deleting the temporary files and folders)
(Checked firewall and Anti virus)
A slow computer :
if you have too many applications open, it could slow down your media streaming. If you notice things are sluggish, close all unnecessary applications and windows running on your computer. Just keep your Web browser and your media player open.
Noisy phone lines.
phone line that isn't free of noise (humming, crackling), that's not good for streaming (or Web browsing). Disconnect any phones that cause a buzz or hum.
