Add a comment and describe the timer you have, and include if this is new timer, or timer that stopped working.
Also add if you are connecting for single pole or 3-way.
Be aware that some aube timers are not compatible with CFL, and work with incandescent only, and require minimum load wattage.
Better choice is ST01C timer

Where can we purchase Aube 7-Day Programmable 40-500w Light Timer Switch

You might be looking for T-1032 or T-1034 500watt timer
Identify model number on following link, and then google-search that specific model.
Link to instruction manual appears for each timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Aube-timers-and-manuals.html

Honeywell Aube in-wall timers can be used for single-pole or 3-way applications.
Look at instruction manual carefully for 3-way wiring.
Timer can be used for incandescent, halogen and CFL with minimum wattage requirement.
Since Aube timers have internal battery, they cannot be exposed to freezing temperatures or high temperatures.

Lost power and need to reset the timer.

Aube timers have back up battery that recharges after power resumes.
Battery should hold programming during outage.
If battery does not charge, then screen doesn't light up and programming not possible.

Aube makes several timers.

Will your timer work inside a cold garage though the winter?

Fixya doesn't make timers.
Honeywell makes the Aube Timer
Aube timers are a new product with a rechargeable battery.
Batteries are susceptible to cold temperatures just as you suspect

Lost the instructions T1032-33-34-35 can we get them?

http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Aube-T1032-timer.pdf

Aube is a Honeywell product I believe:
The timer seems revolutionary for not requiring a Neutral wire, yet requires no battery either.
Advantage: No more confusing wiring. Simple 7-step programming.
If old switch has 2 wires, the Aube changes to 2-wire application
If old switch is 3-way, the Aube changes to 3-wire application, the only major change is jumper on other 3-way switch

Timer replaces ordinary wall switch:
