is the freezer cold? is there frost in the back of the freezer? is the fans running? is the compressor running? is the condensor coils clean?

Make sure the temperature dial is set properly. The try to recharge the freon. If that doesn't work the compressor may be bad. Most of the time it's cheaper to replace the fridge than to replace the compressor.
