Hi,
The reason for this (foaming up) is because you are using a 4 in 1 detergent and also using rinse aid (or maybe you have just topped up rinse aid and spilt some)
If you are using 4 in 1 tablets, do not use rinse aid as this causes foam.

Hope this helps

Oversudsing
This can be due to using a laundry or handwash detergent instead of a specific dishwasher detergent instead. It could also be due to excessive amounts of rinse aid in the dispenser or certain food soils that contain a high level of protein such as eggs.

Your pipe to the water pump exit is probably blocked with bits of old fluff or missing sock, i found that the clothes had slimy bits on mine, i tilted it up and removed the rubber water exit pipe from under neath, cleaned out all the rubbish and works a treat now.

Cant find rinse aid container

Many old dishwashers don't have a drying aid dispenser. If you have one, your will find some sort of cap to remove in the door, near where you place the detergent powder.
If you don't have one, you can buy an alternate vesion fo drying air, which is this little "basket" that you hang from the top rack. Avaiable in most stores.

Half wa ythrough the wash the heater is engaging and when it engages the it trips of the mains.. The insulation on the heater has been damaged. Replace the heater its at the front of the drum.. you will have to remove the front panels of the machine and then you will find it on the front of the drum at near the bottom....

DW trips cicuit breaker

I have seen a lot of these older dishwasher break the wires running up to the timer. the break right near the bottom of the door where they flex when you open and close it. I would turn of the power, remove all the torx screws along the inside edges of the door, as well as the 2 on the bottom edge of the door facing up (you cant see them, just gotta feel around for them) and loosen the 2 on the top of the door near the latch ( so you can tilt the control panel out to remove the outer door) follow the wires from the timer down to the bottom of the door and see if any are broken or missing insulation. If not, take the bottom panel of the dishwasher as well and locate the 2 terminals hooked to the heater and check them with an ohmeter to see if they are grounded to the frame of the dishwasher. the dishwasher may be doing a heated rinse just before the dry cycle even though you have low temperature and no heated dry selected, so the problem may still be the heater. Good Luck!
