SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why can't I open my email without an ad wanting me to log into them.

Install an ad blocker like: Adblock, Adblock Plus, uBlock, uBlock Origins are the most popular ones.
AdBlock
Adblock Plus
uBlock
uBlock Origin
Depending on how much RAM you have depends on which version to install. Four gigs or less only install uBlock, or uBlock Origins as they are smaller and won't slow down your system. AdBlock is the smaller version of AdBlock Plus so not as small as uBlock or uBlock Origins. AdBlock Plus not only handles ads, it handles some malware and pop-ups as well. Requires a device with more than 4 Gb of Ram.

I get ads on or beside my email and some time its hard to read it all

Download and install the latest version of firefox once installed click on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Add-ons' and type 'adblock plus' in the search window at the top right. Install the new add-on, restart firefox (close it and reopen it) and choose easylist USA (or whatever the default subscription is) and accept it. Once this is done you can choose to block images and ads on web pages (it will also automatically block known ads) by right-clicking on a picture or ad and selecting adblock plus: Block image

Advertisements, videos and other kind of unwanted objects

Get the Firefox add-on Adblock Plus. Click Tools from the menu bar, then Add-ons. Search for Adblock Plus and install it. Restart Firefox and you'll see a screen where you select which ad list you want to subscribe to (don't worry, it's not a pay thing...just means you're picking one) and that's it.

It's amazing how much stuff goes away from sites with Adblock Plus operating. Even on this site!

Thanks for using Fixya. And Firefox. (Now, want to consider Linux and OpenOffice as well? Two more great free alternatives to Microsoft's world domination!)

No matter how many times I manage the add-on thing, the bar keeps coming on my screen saying "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled. Blah, blah, blah." Every time I fix it, it does...

First thing to do is to download the latest Internet Explorer or other browser like Mozilla Firefox. After you download it, Install the latest browser, I recommend Mozilla Firefox. It is faster and more secure than Internet Explorer. It helps prevent unwanted pop ups and prevent unwanted programs to get into your computer. To be much more secure install an ADBLOCK software into the mozilla browser.
