Do you have a manual for model # MH7100XYB-0 (Microwave)? I am having problems with my microwave and have misplaced the installation manual.

The installation manual is here. The exploded parts list is here.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, & testing.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Maytag MMV4205BA internal fan quits

As promised, here is your solution information:

You can download Maytag owner's manuals, installation instructions, and parts lists here.

You can find the service manual (which may not have a parts list) by selecting Literature by Model on this page and entering your exact model number with suffix. (Also try it without suffix if you have trouble).

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

You need all three of those documents in some cases.

Finally, you can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

At our site, we now have a video available showing how to remove a typical control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

I have a whirlpool microwave. Model GT4185sks-2. I turned on by itself. Afterwards, no heat coming from unit.

When it's plugged in, does it still try to come on?

If so, it may have a failing keypad.

And if it ran empty for too long, it may have overheated and damaged the magnetron too.

I don't see a thermostat or thermal cutout mentioned in the exploded views and parts lists, but it pretty much has to have one.

There should be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

This is one case where that will come in handy.

I have the GE profile combo microwave & convection. I keep getting F4 code when ever I use the sensor buttons.

F4 means your temperature sensor is shorted or coated with grease.

Microwave was run with nothing inside and shut down.

Did it come back on?

If not, then you probably have a blown thermal cutout on the magnetron.

Model JMV8000 Jenn-Air Microwave

I would say one of the thermal fuses has blown, either the one for the magnetron or the cooking cavity. This is a simple and inexpensive fix for a DIYer.

The exhaust on our frigidaire microwave started making a high pitched squealing noise, is there anyway to fix it?

I would say the bearings of your hood exhaust fan motor are going out.

Please reply back with your brand and full model number so we can possibly offer more specific advice?

Where is the fuse for a maytage microwave MMV5207bas

The fuse is located behind the grille in line with the power cord on the right side of the unit.

But if your unit is dead, it may also be a bad magnetron thermal fuse or oven thermostat.

To mrotu47182 and MaryGur - you may very well have different problems!

TO mrotu47182:

Chances are the magnetron overheated, blowing the "magnetron thermal cutout".

To MaryGur:

Your problem may be a bad keypad, but the first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

If that doesn't fix it, you may have a bad keypad, assuming that your unit's display is on, but it won't respond to any key presses.

Is this your symptom?

I have a GE microwave model number-JVM3670sk03. It seems to make too much noise when it is in use.
