The Veriton 1000 I have has 50mm fans (length and width). 80mm are the wrong size. They are 15mm thick, 12V, 0.2A. For some reason, these seem to be more expensive than many other fans.
In the model number... I'm not sure of the fx and ms, but the 80 and 25 is a standard 80mm case fan that is 25mm thick. I tried a standard .2amp case fan that I had on hand and the circuit board did not like that..it got hot. I got on ebay and looked at dozens of 12v 80mm fans until I found one that was 0.09amps. That was as close as I was able to find without much more looking. The fan works very well although not quite as much airflow as the new crane humidifier that I put next to it but it doesn't overheat and does the job for about 7 bucks.
It appears to be a fairly standard 50x50x15mm fan with a two pin type 2 connector. Try looking for a two pin 50mm fan with a thickness of less than or equal to 15mm. A quick search I've done can be found here.
