Hi, Error code 9 on your treadmill means the brushes on the motor need replacing. This is an automatic indication that is set for 100 miles of use to prevent damage to the motor. Replace both sets of brushes and this should Fixya!

The most likely cause of the problem is a worn treadmill belt and deck.
Most of the time its caused from NOT LUBRICANTING between the treadmill belt and deck.
This causes friction and the surfaces wear putting greater stress on the electronics. The treadmill is shutting down to protect the electronics.
Remember the treadmill is complex electronic system. sincerely.
