Codes for One For All Slim Line 2 tv remote control URC 3920 please.

Without test, but you could try it...

Only 3940 - Direct code set up
Example: To set up the ONE FOR ALL for your television:
1 Find the code for your device in the Code list. Codes are listed by device type and brand name.
The most popular code is listed first. Make sure your device is switched on (not on standby).
2 Press the TV key on the ONE FOR ALL for the device you wish to Set-Up.
3 Press and hold down the MAGIC key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
4 Enter your (five-digit device code) using the number keys. The red LED will blink twice.
5 Now, aim the ONE FOR ALL at your device and press POWER If your device switches off, the ONE FOR ALL is ready to operate your device.
If your device does not respond to the ONE FOR ALL after you have tried all the codes listed for your brand, try searching for your code.

The Search Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all the codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL.

The Search Method
Example: To search for your TV code:
1 Switch your television on (not on standby) and aim your ONE FOR ALL at your TV.
2 Press the TV key on your ONE FOR ALL.
3 Press and hold down the MAGIC key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
4 Press 9 9 1. The red LED will blink twice.
5 Next, press POWER.
6 Aim the ONE FOR ALL at your Television. Now press CH+ over and over, until your Television turns off.
- everytime you press the CH+ key the ONE FOR ALL will send out a POWER signal from the next code contained in the memory.
- You may have to press this key many times (up to 150 times) so please be patient.
7 As soon as your television turns off, press the MAGIC key to store the code.

Hope helps.

Bush 32 inch Tv is stuck on standby and 2 year old has broken the remote control. The tv is set up for child lock so pressing the buttons manually is not helping. Have just purchased a universal remote...

If you unplug the power cord, let it sit for a minute and plug it back in, it should let you turn the tv on by the button at least once. Then you can at least get the remote linked up. Please reply back to your post if this resolved the issue. I would rather you try this first before going further.

Tv stuck in standby

If you can not turn on TV set with the power button on the TV its not a standby problem as this would by pass the standby. Theres most likly, on a set of this age, top have a poiwer regulator problem and is going to need a trained tech to assist you in this repair.
