Power Failure, is it dead? If so call a repair man. Make sure you check the fuse to the fridge, no power to the unit may be the problem too, the sides of most modern fridges get hot thats how they diperse the internal heat.

We still see the temp not moving down it is @ 44.

You need to contact your local refrigeration engineer, not Fixya. We don't fix things, we just give advice and solutions. Mine is the first part of the sentence. Also check the fridge with an internal thermometer rather than any external display.

Why would you disconnect after a power outage? It was probably lightning, or 'brown out' that caused the problem and disconnecting would not fix the damage.

Fghn2844lh not cooling

You said the freezer is working fine, so that would rule out compressor failure. If the fan motor is working on the system, check the vents and make sure they are not blocked. Sometimes, food will be placed in fron of the vents inside the freezer and inside the refrigerator compartment, blocking the exchange of air. If vents are not obstructed it may be the circuit board that controls or regulates the temperature for the refrigerator side. If your unit has a control setting, turn it off for a few minutes, this will allow it to re-set, then turn it back on and re-set the temperature settings if they don't go back to factory pre-set. Most units are pre-set at the factory for economy, but the consumer can set them lower or higher manually for more desired settings. If it is the control, you can usually replace it yourself with a new part and save money, or have a service tech do it. A power surge or power failure could have disrupted the system and caused the original factor settings to be lost, and they need to be reset. Hope that helps.

Infocus in104 projetor problem: power off, temp red, lamp green

Most probably failure of the thermistor or thermal fuse that detects the temperature of the lamp housing - so the projector thinks it's hot even when it's cold. Unfortunately it will need a trip to an authorised service centre for repairs

My frigidaire is displaying SY CF

Hello Angela Clark - Typically error code SY CF indicates that the refrigerator has detected a communication failure after power up. Contact a professional to move forward accurately. The wiring between the main control board and user interface board will need to be check and diagnose. Depending on the diagnoses the main control board may need replacing.

I have a PMP5000, used 5 times now. Last gig I

Cease using it immediately and get it serviced. There are failure modes of this that can do serious damage that requires a lot of work to repair.

If the temp sensors shut it down, it will restore if cooled off... If that doesn't happen service is required.

If just one side of the speakers went out I know exactly what has happened as I have repaired three of these all with same problem. If both sides are down and the rest seems to work, that is an uncommon failure

The cooling fan is throttled as needed and runs only when heat sinks get to a certain temp.

1989 camaro cooling fan failure, how do i fix it

When was the last time the thermostat was changed , the fans are only supposed to come on before the temp gets to high if the fans come on when you turn the air conditioner on then it is not the fan.

2002 jeep grd cherokee 4 0 will a jet 180 degree thermostat

Your engine is a heat pump. The amount of power it makes is directly related to how much heat you can produce (energy). The limiting factor is component failure from heat and pressure. Using a lower temperature thermostat would cause a loss of power...additionally your computer system is calibrated for higher expected temps and will not function correctly with a lower temp thermostat.
Conversely, cooling down intake air and fuel will add power...The colder the air and fuel, the denser the charge...more fuel & air =more power...but there is a trade-off in fuel mileage!
