Question about Dishwashers
No, most likely you need to add rinse agent and/or dishwasher salt to your dishwasher for it to run properly. If you have recently put in something with a label and it came off in the heat the paper would now be blocking the filter and you should check this too, it would be reachable through a screwtop inside the main body of your dishwasher. If the clog has formed inside the tube that leads out of your dishwasher you could disconnect it and run hot water directly through, you may be more comfortable with a service man but it is really something anyone can do without much need for tools except for a bucket and old junky towels handy in case of slight spillage. Best to turn the electric and water off to it first!

SOURCE: Simpson Silencio 850 leaks -
Hi, I've just purchased a 2nd hand model of your dishwasher. mine actually leaks from the black lining underneath. I've just patched it with some Sellys bathroom sealant. I don't know more about your problem but sounds like it could be something not timing out to stop the water, maybe buy a new 1 :P

Check that the pressure switch tubes are not blocked on the underside of the machine on the right hand side and that the pressure switches are working when you blow down their tubes. You will hear them click on and off.
