Open Question

I need a part for a Behringer Ultratone KX450FX amplifier

I am repairing this amplifier, which keeps blowing fuses. I have isolated the fault to the transformer, and I need to locate the part.

SOURCE: Fuse blowing on start up on Behringer PMH 518M

Try running the amp with no speaker cables connected. If it doesn't blow the fuse you know it's either your Speakon cables or the speakers themselves that are to blame (it's usually the cables)

If it still blows then there is a more serious problem with the power section.

A fuse blows like that because of an overload. Nine times out of 10 it will a transistor that is acting like a piece of wire. If you have a Ohm meter try the output devices. You will soon find the faulty part as it will be like you have touched the test probes together!

This is most LIKELY an electronic problem... possibly in the final power amp. Repair may be a simple failed component or a mass number that fail like a stack of dominos. Take it to a shop for repair.

SOURCE: i replaced the transformer and

Transformers rarely fail... you wasted money on that... Likely one of the rectifier diodes/module or filter caps has shorted. Continued use will burn out the transformer. It is humming because it is overloaded with failing components.

Something blew during a loud performance and now it produces continual high-freq feedback that can't be controlled.

The speaker may be blown, but if you're getting continual Hi-freq feedback that is not resolved by lowering the volume know, you need to take this to the repair shop.

Where can I get a Type T 6.3 AH 250V fuse for a K3000FX 300Watt Keyboard Amp?

Start with a 5 amp fuse and see if that holds. If it doesn't go to 10 amp. If that pops, you will have a power supply or amplifier fault. Good luck

For a start , check headphones out.

• if it don't work , check power supply of the preamps.

• If it is OK, could probably the main amp have fail.

But check the main volume .

How to replace fuse in case it blows..?

The answer is you DON'T replace it without repairing the cause, lest you cause further damage to the internal components. Often the fuse is contained in a plastic "boat" that is right alongside where the power cord plugs in. You have to remove the cord to lift the tab on the boat.

HI, I just need the value/taper of the 30mm slide potentiometer used in the equalizer of the Behringer K1800XF.

The sliders in almost all of the EQ's in Behringer are linear taper (B). The values are usually 50K. Fo replacement make sure you get matching mounting spacing. Almost all Behringer pots are made by ALPS.
Note that the rotary volume controls are G (graphic) taper, often 50K and are hard to get. trying to get these from the Behringer parts distributor was futile... gave up after 4 months wait.

How do i get to the power amp? fuses keep getting blow and i dont want to repair it but the speaker is good. i want to remove the speakers and power amp from the box

Power amp is through the back. There are about 5 transistors in the output section that are likely blown and they are realatively inexpensive ones. Also the poower supply is a full-wave centertapped bridge and filter caps or diodes could have shorted... all are fairly inexpensive fixes.
