Question about Mitsubishi WD62527 62 in. LCD HDTV
I turn on tv green light blinks then blue screen comes on then tv goes off
How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy. Possible bad lamp, color wheel or both. Do you also hear a grinding or louder than normal whirling sound? If so, then it's your color wheel. If not, try just replacing the lamp.

Fault with serial data; serial clock signal path. Serial clock path is OK, but data path must be traced. Seek tech support. This is a very skilled work.

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..
Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..
1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

The green blinking light of death this is called, it is the digital portion of the set trying to boot up, only one simple thing to try here, get at the front keyboard where the Tiny reset button is and unplug that board, I can tell you how if needed.
The light should if power was removed and returned blink for about 70 seconds and go out--then set can be turned on.
The common circuit problem that (other than a bad reset button) is 4 filter caps on the main power board that puff up---follow power cord to that board and look for:
The reset button is easier to look at and disconnect, the caps are usually easy to see if puffed up--if I remember this model there are 4 1000uf(microfarad) at 16 volt rated caps that go bad, if even one is puffed replace all four--kits do exist or you can buy the caps by themselves. The kits are not real expensive and may come with the pico fuse that is in that power supply.
