Did you replace the thermal fuse on the back of the oven or the one in the control panel?

SOURCE: left a silicone liner in a self-cleaning oven when I cleaned it

JUST SCRAPE IT OFF IF YOU CAN. OTHERWISE RUN ANOTHER CYCLE AND BURN THE REST OUT OF THERE.

OR JUST USE IT AS LONG AS YOU DONT SMELL ANYTHING BAD.

SOURCE: self clean

Usually the oven has to be locked closed with a handle on on the front door. This will activate a safety mechanism that will allow the cleaning cycle to start. If the safety switch is malfunctioning or the door is not closed properly, the cleaning cycle won't start.

I have a whirlpool double oven too and replaced the control board last year the problem started with a F06 code and would reset when I power cycled for a while until it completely quit. Changing the control board fixed that problem. I just used my self cleaning cycle recently and the oven went completely blank on the control panel. Power cycle didn't do any thing. I checked 2 of the thermal cutoff fuses that are shown on most of the parts listing but the problem was with one that is not shown. The link below will get you to the part I replaced it's the power feed to the control board. Turns out that the worst thing you can do to your oven is use the self clean feature. Oven Thermal Fuse

It has nothing to do with the tight fit.
It has everything to do with self-cleaning on ovens.
The thermal fuse blows due to extreme temperatures.
Replace the fuse to use the oven.
Use an oven cleaner to clean the oven OR replace more fuses in the future.

I have a Kitchenaid oven model KEBC107KSSO. After using the auto clean, broiler and oven does not heat. Control panel works fine.

The thermal fuse on the back of the oven is out. Usually happens if the oven is installed incorrectly or the blower is too small to cool the back of the oven down while in self-clean mode.
I'd call KitchenAid (whirlpool) and ask if it needs the blower kit to fix it. Have your model&serial numbers handy.
In case it does not need the blower kit, the thermal fuse part number is 9759242, and it can be purchased here (use coupon "New10" for 10% off). Read my other post for the instruction how to get to the thermostat.

Oven will not heat after self cleaning

We used the self cleaning feature on our RBS305 Built In Electric oven and afterwards it would not heat. replaced the Fuse-Thermal part Nr 9759243 (which is the new part number. (Shown as Nr 37 on the Parts list for the oven parts). Cut all Power to the oven off and it was very easy to pull oven out with help of my wife. Removed back, bought a new part for 49.55 plus tax. Put in new part, replaced back and oven works like new. I am a 73 year old senior so when I say it is fairly easy to replace you know it is. Hope this helps someone

Oven won't heat

Unplug the power cord for thirty minutes, this should reset the oven.
If this still does not work do the following:
Press clean and then cancel. This will reset the appliance.

If the error does not clear , then during the self cleaning cycle, the high temperature has probably damaged the temperature sensor probe, and it must be replaced.

Oven wont work after self clean

I have a Whirlpool MOD. RBS275PDB17 single electric self-cleaning oven; although the manual is generic, it specifies, "When the cycle is completed and the oven cools, "End" will appear on the lower oven display and "LOCKED' will disappear" and "To Stop Self-Clean any time: Press UPPER/OFF, LOWER/OFF or OFF/CANCEL. If the oven temperature is too high, the door will remain locked. It will not unlock until the oven cools." Has your oven had time to cool?

OVEN will not heat

KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!

OVEN will not heat

After reading the above, here is how I fixed my KEBS177DSS9
I pulled out the wall oven from the cabnet. Took off the back tin panel about 10 tin screws. Follow the wire from both heating elements. They are both connected to a thermo fuse. When using the self clean feature this fuse protects the oven from over heating and starting a fire. I put a jumper wire from the hot lead on the left and connected it to the 2 leads on the right side. I turned the power back on and turn the oven on to bake at 350 degrees. Yep It worked like a charm. I bypassed the thermal fuse and used the oven, until the new thermal fuse was ordered. If you have any questions about this fix email me at jodunn5555@aol.com Good luck

Whirlpool oven issue

Usually, when an oven won't bake, it's because the bake element is burned out. The bake element is the black, pencil- thick tube at the bottom of the oven. When the oven heats, the element glows red. This element has an expected life-span of several years. It may last for only one; it may last for many more. When the element burns out, you need to replace it.
