Beam AP900 power rush runs, turns and seems to work fineEXCEPT no suction and the dirt doesn't get sucked through the hose. The hose is clear and not clogged. Any help would be appreciated.

Why won't it suck

Hey there! It's possible that you may still have a clog in your vacuum somewhere. The filters can also cause the vacuum to lose suction. Try these steps to restore suction to your cleaner.

1. Remove the dirt cup canister from the vacuum. Remove the dirt cup lid.
2. Remove the primary foam filter. Rinse the filter under running water until it runs clear. Allow 24 hours to air dry outside of the vacuum.
3. Slide the Hepa filter out. Tap the filter against the trash can until dirt stops falling. Replace the Hepa filter. (Do not wash) Filters should be replaced once a year.
4. Remove the hose from both ends. Use a broom stick to gently loosen and clear any clogs from hose.
5. Remove the bottom plate and brushroll. Use a wooden spoon or something similar to loosen and remove any clogs from the lower hose.

6. Check that the brushes are still spinning. If not, replace the belt.
Hope this helps!

Seems to **** up the dirt/dust and simply blow it out instead of capturing it inside

Most of these have an suction hose and a blow port. One blows air, one sucks air. Make sure the suction hose is on the correct port. Also, a dirty air filter will cause the same effects. The filter must be good to prevent the dirt and dust being blow around.

When i am vacuuming my carpet....it sucks the dirt up when i am pushing it forward, but when i pull it back, the dirt comes back out on the carpet

This is due to a loss of suction. The roller brush sweeps the dirt to the hose area, but with no suction, when you pull the vacuum back, the brush just kicks the dirt back out. This is most likely due to a clog in part of the hose system.
You don't mention whether it's a canister or upright, but check all hoses and tube.
It can also be due to a full bag or clogged filter. Another cause could be a fault in the switch or wiring that turns on the power nozzle (only if it has a separate motor) but not the vacuum.
The fan blades could be broken or worn, which would allow the vacuum to run, but with no airflow/suction.
Or most costly, the motor is worn out and no longer working.

BEAM VACUM DOSE NOT WORK GOOD BECAUSE SOMETING SUCKED IN THEIR

Check to see if you have suction at the outlet, if so
the plug is in the hose or wand. If no suction at the wall, check at the vacuum. If you have suction at the vacuum then the line from the vacuum to the outlet
that you were connected is where the plug is.
Try a plumbers snake to try to get plug out.

Have a Sears shop vac, mod 113.172. The motor doesn't take in

If the motor turns, you should have suction. Put the hose on the exhaust side of the motor if there is a connection, and try to blow it out. If you can't, try using a garden hose or toilet snake to clear the hose. IF the hose is clear, and the problem continues, check the float in the cage below the motor. It should be down at the bottom of the cage. Also, if you haven't been using a bag or foam cover for the cage, it is possible for leaves to clog the motor.

The indicator lights are not working

The dirt sensor is just inside where the bag attaches. It shines a beam of invisible light across the bag discharge tube. It will always show dirty if dust gets caked on it. Try wiping the area clean. This fix did not work for me. Remove the 3 screws that hold the hose assembly to the back of the vacuum, check to see if there is a piece of hair snagged on the end of the hose. This was the case for me. When running, the hair would wave back and forth by the sensor and set it off.

Hi, my sanyo pulse 1500 bagless vacuum has very little suction.

If the vacuum will run without the hose attached, does the suction seem ok at the opening where the hose goes into? If so, then you have a clog in the hose or down below where the dirt is first sucked up. If suction is poor at the vacuum, then check the filters, they go bad after awhile.

Dirt devil mvp not sucking

Could be bad filters, is there suction at the end of the hose. That will tell you which direction to start looking. If no suction at hose end, then filters could be the problem. If you have suction, then the problem is down lower, dirt inlet is clogged, if belt has never been changed, then I am sure it has stretch to the point that under load it doesn't turn like it should. Could even be that although the motor is running, it may be running at a slower speed, in which case it would have to be replaced.
