Dell XPS M1530 bluetooth wireless mouse

since it is a wireless bluetooth mouse, you should make sure that each time you restart your system make sure that the bluetoth is enabled nd working. Also see the battery check on the mouse. if you are having more than one USB port, make sure you try on them too. Hope to hear from you.

Thankyou

How can I get a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse adjust for better reception

Want a better keyboard and mouse get? Look in the Bluetooth receiver. Receivers can be internal (the motherboard) or external (USB). Bluetooth signals span of 33 meters or 10 meters, so a mouse and keyboard should be able to work anywhere in this area, while the receiver is not blocked and there is no interference.

1. Find your Bluetooth receiver. Each computer is different. Laptops have a small round recipient, either on the side or front of the notebook base. Desktop computers, indoor or outdoor antenna or Bluetooth "dongle" that plugs into a USB port. Check your manual if necessary.

2. Place your keyboard and mouse to the side when an aluminum casing. Newton Peripherals recommend this step because before 2009 most Bluetooth receivers were on the side of notebook computers, and the cases of aluminum and magnesium blocking Bluetooth signals. Newer laptops have one receiver in front of the cabinet, allowing for better reception.

3. Avoid placing the mouse and keyboard directly to your desktop computer. The components built in front of the computer can block or interrupt the Bluetooth signal, so put your mouse and keyboard on the side or at an angle to the computer.

4. Interference check and surface. Bluetooth uses radio waves and FM radios can interfere with the signal. Make sure the devices are not turned FM. Make sure you're not the keyboard and mouse on a metal surface or reflective surfaces because both can interfere with transmission.
In the EEE starter kit for Microsoft surface pro how do I get the 24 G wireless optical mouse to connect to my surface

The mouse should have come with a wireless-receiver that connects into a USB port on your computer. Plug-in that adapter, and the mouse should be able to wirelessly-connect to that adapter.

How to connect a wireless mighty mouse to a macbook pro

There should be software if it is a Apple Magic mouse, install software, then turn bluetooth on for mouse, unless your mac doesnt have bluetooth, then you need a USB bluetooth adapter.

I did something to the mouse and now it will not work on a flat surface, only in the air. What did I do. I don't have the manual.

It depends what kind of mouse you have: If you have a mouse with a ball located at the bottom of it then you might of knocked it back into where the mouse operated, therefore the mouse only working in the air... OR ... If you have a sensor mouse you might of knocked it or dropped it meaning that something has happened with its controls inside leaving it only working in the air, i hope this was useful :)

If you have "good batteries" installed in the mouse and keyboard and you still have the problem- the best way is to remove the devices via the System Preference panel in your MacBook and then re-install them again. It is important that you remove them first as the system may revert to the previous connection. Good luck!
