Renault Scenic 1.9TDI Diesel 2000 heater is blowing out only cold air

Hi Paul, check the engine coolant level, the thermostat and the valve operation which controls the coolant going into the cabin heater. The most likely problem would be with the heater regulator valve. You'll find that located on the fire wall between the engine and cabin. It will have two hoses and an adjustment device fitted. It very well may be stuck. Regards John

How to start 92 npr diesel in cold weather

You will probably need some Ether based starting fluid. You may have to remove air filter to shoot a 2 second blast into the intake - but first try shooting the air intake with the 2 second blast and start vehicle. Diesel fuel tends to thicken in cold weather and a fuel additive like Lowes diesel fuel treatment may help keep your fuel fluid in colder weather. In cold weather, like on a night of clear skies causing low temperatures, a block engine heater will help to keep your fuel fluid - along with the diesel treatment. Block heaters are not too difficult to install depending on your vehicles configuration and how much room you have at a freeze plug, and are well worth the cost.
Hope this helps and please rate my solution!!

How to remove heater core from buick cintury 1995

With Air Conditioning
CAUTION When draining the coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted by ethylene glycol antifreeze, and are quite likely to drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantity. Always drain the coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or several years old.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and drain the cooling system.
  2. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core inlet and outlet connections in the engine compartment.
  3. Allowing residual coolant from the heater core to drain. Cap the openings.
  4. Working inside the vehicle, remove the lower instrument panel sound insulator.
  5. Remove the heater floor outlet duct screws or clips and remove the duct.

Check your RADIATOR. it probably has a leak or crack or both..Well, i guess if its leaking it must have a crack. This is most probable to your problem affecting the air cold to hot vice versa.

Only cold air from my heater on e300 turbo diesel

The Most common Cause for your Heat to stop blowing, is low engine coolant. If there is not enough coolant in your system, your heater coil will not function. Check the level of your Engine coolant.

Heater problem

sounds like you don't have enough coolant flowing into your heater core. Check coolant level in radiator and overfolw bottle.

Or, you have your temperature blend door stuck in the cold or partail cold position. Could be a bad blend door motor or heater cntrols head.
