Sounds like your external coil is bad.

Stop using it. If the insulation on the power cord is cracked, cut, or bare, you are getting a short from a wire being exposed to the mixers body. This could cause a Fire and/or injure you directly. The source needs to found by a technician and repaired.

Facing the set it's on the left, wording is on the edge and the buttons are on the back edge.

Could be the coil over heating, does it restart on it's own after a period of time, touch the coil when it stops, should be warm not hot, same possible with the cdi unit?? Good hunting.

I can understand how important it is to have your dryer working properly. However, without the model number, I can only provide some general information on the issue. There are several components that can cause a dryer to stop heating. These depend on the source of power that the dryer uses. If the dryer is electric the problem could be caused by a failed thermal fuse, hi limit thermostat, control thermostat, thermal cut-off, or heating element. This could also be cause by a blown household breaker (there are two for this type of dryer, and one can blow or pop without the other one), or a failed timer. Some of these will also cause a gas dryer to stop heating, such as the thermostats, the thermal fuse and the thermal cut-off depending on your model. However, there is also the ignitor, the burner, the safety valve, or the coils that can cause it as well. In order to determine which part is causing the problem you will need to test the different components. If you could reply with your model number and any additional details about this, I can then provide a more detailed answer.

The pump has a thermal cut out fitted,
Pump must have over heated and cut power to machine.
Replace the pump to fix this problem.

Hello, I suspect this is a electric dryer, the problem is caused when the heater goes bad, The winding on the heater will break and touch down to the chassis of the dryer which in turn will make a cicuit bypassing the switch. Replace the heater and your all fixed. Mike

check your spark plugs leads
the CDI unit need to be tested for power and make sure that no wires are touching the frame as this could stop your ignition .
the cut off switch could be faulty too .
check all power sources around your motor as a wire could easely burned and earth itself .
