If you cleaned out the condensor unit, your problem is probably a bad evaporator. Schedule a service call. If the condensor was really dirty then you may have just compacted the dust into the condensor in which case a shot of CO2 would be a good idea.

Flashing ice light service

Hi,

Along with the service light, are you getting any fault codes with it (like EC and a number)? Under normal conditions, this would mean the the unit as a whole is running too much and needs to be cleaned. If cleaned and this is still an issue, you may need a certified person to look for cooling issue that only the computer is seeing. This can happen in a unit the is about 10-15 years old, normally in the fridge section. Do you have a ice ball or frost on the the back wall of the fridge section around the meat slide shelf? this would b a tell - tell sign of a cooling issue. If in doubt, call SubZero dIrectly at 800-888-7820 ask for a certified dealer to take care of you. Not every service company can work on the SubZero unit. (You want certified!)

I hope this helps.

Hold alarm key for 15 seconds to clear control and clean the condenser. If the service light comes on call for service as you most ;likely have a leak.

Sub Zero model # 695 is flashing EC-40 error message. No ice.

When our Sub-Zero Model 650 quit making ice, and the SERVICE ICE lights started flashing, we called our technician who said, "You can pay me $178 for a service call or have another option - you have 2 seconds to decide. Oops, your time is up, I will decide for you!"

"Open the door and push the REFRIGERATOR UNIT ON / OFF message button; wait 30 seconds and push it again. About 95% of the time, the unit creates the glitch, and you are simply rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, call me. I hate to take your money to come out to push a button."

IT WORKED! The warning message turned off and the freezer started cranking out ice.
