Unplug any cables from the projector (except for power)
On the device (not the remote control) hold down exit for 3 sec
lamp status are shown
on the remote control use MENU, and then left right to reset lamp

SOURCE: Lots of details: LP120 stays on for a minute, then powers off

either the colorwheel motor is not getting up to speed to sync with the dmd chip, the wheel sensor is going, or the power supply needs replacing. you can try to replace them yourself or send it to an infocus authorized service center. try www.avsolutionsny.com . they're pretty good.

Hi, I have a BENQ PB2140 Projector which has worked fine until today (Have it for 3 years). It now has a green light (tint) when it projects. When it's still possible to use it, I'd prefer if I could get...

Hi,

It's a DLP model with a colour wheel. It's an unusual problem.

I would start with a basic check and rule out the source material / cables / inputs by swapping them round. You might find that the problem is helped a bit by replacing the lamp but given the fact that this is an old model, with out of date specs and it's out of warranty then I'd be looking at replacing the projector before I spent any money on it.

Try calling Benq Support UK or International to see who their local repair agent is. Usually there is a charge to look at any out of warranty projector before they even begin to diagnose faults.

Good luck!

The projector shut off during operation

It is highly unlikely that you will receive any quotes here; this is a repair website, the only sales would be through links on Fixya pages. I'm sure you can get info on price and availability at the BenQ site:

Hi Ash, check your manual as by memory you can do this by a 2-3 button reset via the remote control. Regards Kevin Andreassend. http://www.iceav.co.nz [email protected] +64-9-4142348
