Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: keyless entry remote

Check inside the remote case...there's instructions printed that tell you to hold the lock and unlock buttons for 7 seconds to reset the remote. I'm in the middle of replacing batteries myself. Let me know if it works.

SOURCE: immobiliser wont go off , wont unlock the doors.

There is a way to override the code, however you need the code number. The only other way is to sit in car with door shut, play with the central locking button on dash, locking and unlocking. While doing this occassionally turn the ignition on and off. If you do it long enough, you may find the immobiliser light goes out, if it does, quickly start the car.

SOURCE: Programming a used 2005 Range Rover key FOB

Unfortunately I believe that will require a trip to the dealer, and a hefty price tag to go with it. Most dealers refuse to let anyone else handle their security systems. And most keys have the alarm keypad built in making it even more dealer specific. I wish I could give better news.

Central lockin wont work changed batterys in both fobs work again for a month now nothin happens when press the fobs so havin to open manually now

You may have an internal problem with the programming inside the SUV. You can check the fobs at ur local O'Reilly or Autozone store. Point the fob at the reader in the store to see if u have a light. If so, ur problem is in the car. There are websites to help u reprogram the car itself. Try google or bing for ur make and model. It will guide u step by step on how to reprogram the car. Good luck.

CAR WONT TURNOVER AND START

Immobiliser fob battery dead? Battery flat? Corroded battery or earth terminals? Dead starter motor or relay? Engine seized (will it bump start if manual?)?

You need to describe what happens when you turn the key.

Key won't unlock and key fob won't either. 2004 land rover freelander.

Sounds like you could have lost the memory in the fob (doe'snt take long for this to happen with these fobs when battery goes bad) in which case it will need reprogrammed and your key wont work in any case until you have this done . unless you have another working fob

Tried to open car with fob but wouldnot open so used key which let me in but did not turn off the immobiliser so car wont start. Only drivers door will open and lock how do i get immobiliser to turn off...

The RCDLR (remote control door lock receiver) could have failed, or the battery in your key fob is dead. The only way to get the immobilizer off is to use the key fob.

Rover 200 fob will not lock/unlock or disarm the immobiliser is there anyway of bypassing it?

Hi, I have a 1999 reg Rover 200 1.4. When I bought the car it did not come with a fob. To cut a long story short, the battery went flat and now I cannot start the car with the key. Is there anyway I can start her without buying a fob? Cheers :o)

Changed battery in key fob now unable to turn immobiliser off on my renault megane coupe s reg

there will be a combination of button presses required to reconfigure your fob to the immobiliser. you dont need to get it recoded so dont pay for it. try these:
hold the a button down for ten seconds until the light comes on constantly. then press it twice quickly and it will reprogram.
or press lock about ten times, then open ten times. this should work.
i had this problem on a rover and just pressing the buttons loads of times may allow it to be reprogrammed.
also check the battery isnt upside down in the fob.
